How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Development of Systems Integration processes and documentation.
- Support of Systems Engineering processes and Systems Delivery processes.
- Interaction with Design Technical Leads, Construction Delivery Leads and O&M/M&R Support Leads.
- Support of construction and installation activities in the field.
- Support for Test & Commissioning and setting to work of mass transit, urban rail and heavy freight signalling and control systems.
- Support for System Assurance/V&V teams in the delivery of mass transit, urban rail and heavy freight signalling and control systems.
What will you contribute?
Requirements:
Essential
- Experience with system integration knowledge and expertise in this domain for 0 – 2 years.
- Knowledge of system integration practices and processes
- Good team player in a mixed team of systems integration and system engineering professionals
- Able to take part in discussions with the team member and peers.
Highly desirable
- EIT registration with PEO or similar, is required.
- Degree qualified with a minimum 2 years relevant post graduate experience.
- Knowledge of system engineering practices, processes and principles
- Experience of technical environments.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Excellent written, presentation and communication/briefing skills; able to present to audiences of peers
- Excellent relationship skills; able build trust and advocacy with others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to engage staff and address issues effectively.
Must be willing to travel to project sites, vendor locations and to work away from home for periods of time.
