Insights Engineers Week 2021

A time to celebrate our engineers

Did you know that Engineers Week was founded in 1951?  

According to the National Society of Professional Engineers, this week is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineer work force by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers. 

At AtkinsRéalis , we know that our engineers are central to the process of developing and employing innovative technologies to problem solving. That innovation holds promise for improved quality of life, benefits both our world and its inhabitants, and works to ensure equal access to the underserved.  We’re proud of our engineers and all that you do to make the world a better place.  

Our engineers and technical colleagues partook in Kahoot!, an exciting trivia game made up of engineering, design, pop culture and company-related questions that left them wanting to go a 2nd round!  We also recognized our winners of the 2021 Outstanding Engineer’s and Designer’s Award!

With World Engineering Day only a few days after Engineers Week, we’re proud that our company supports the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) as a signatory of the UN Global Compact and has created a Sustainable Business Strategy aligned with the UN SDGs.
