Cyber Security Governance Specialist – Nuclear

This role reports to the Cyber Security Governance Manager and as such acts as an integral part of SNC-Lavalin’s Global Security group whose mandate is to protect people, assets and reputation of SNC-Lavalin in the digital and physical world.
We are looking for someone to act as the Cyber Security point of contact in our nuclear business unit and lead the deployment of the N290.7-14/20 standard.
How will you contribute to the team?
- Oversee the deployment of the N290.7-14/20 standard including gap analysis, risk assessment, governance documentation, controls definition, change management, etc.
- Write, maintain and communicate the Cyber & Security governance documents dedicated to the Nuclear business unit.
- Participate in the various meetings with the business to promote cyber security.
- Ensure that proposed solutions are in line with our policies.
- Propose security requirements to be enforced within the Nuclear business unit.
- Follow-up with the appropriate group to ensure these security requirements are being managed properly.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor's Degree (equivalent or higher degree) in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Security or any other equivalent degree.
- Seasoned in deploying end-to-end cyber security frameworks such as N290.7-14, N290.7-20, ISO/IEC 27001 and/or NIST.
- Skilful in writing governance documents.
- Qualified in the use of risk management frameworks and threat modelling techniques.
- Good written, oral and presentation skills; able to self-direct and work on own initiative and provide leadership, help and advice to others;
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to win support and cooperation in a team environment as well as from senior management and other stakeholders;
- Experienced in working collaboratively and driving changes alongside team members as well as other business functions and stakeholders;
- Strong technical and process-orientated skills coupled with good problem analysis capabilities, ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, demanding and fast-changing corporate environment;
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to communicate in French would be considered an asset.
- Experienced in dealing with governmental classifications and documentation would be considered an asset.
