Atkins Architecture & Master planning Practice are looking to recruit an innovative Architect to be part of our Epsom Architectural Team.

Our team comprising of creative minds, Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior designers’ engineers, work alongside each other and everything we do, from the smallest project to the largest masterplan, is a team effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Atkins offers newly qualified architect the opportunity to be a part of exciting projects working with a network of creative individuals all with the share aspirational goal of design excellence.
  • Our primary focus is to ensure our architects are challenged towards professional growth within a new team, exposing architects to the multi-disciple environment and client facing opportunities.
  • Inspire the team to create projects that are innovative and creative in their response to the client brief
  • Preparing feasibility options for various projects and working with other disciplines to test the validity of designs.
  • Support in securing new business opportunities including bid writing, undertaking presentations to clients/project stakeholders.
  • Communicating schemes in a mixed portfolio of media, including the latest 3D software packages.

Requirements:

  • This role requires a recognised ARB registration and ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
  • Highly computer literate, skilled in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications.
  • Excellent presentational and communicational skills both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills.
  • Ability to work within a team effectively and deliver tight deadlines on time and on budget and able to cope with change e.g. to brief, programme or role mentoring other team members.

We offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy some or sell of that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
