Responsibilities:
- Atkins offers newly qualified architect the opportunity to be a part of exciting projects working with a network of creative individuals all with the share aspirational goal of design excellence.
- Our primary focus is to ensure our architects are challenged towards professional growth within a new team, exposing architects to the multi-disciple environment and client facing opportunities.
- Inspire the team to create projects that are innovative and creative in their response to the client brief
- Preparing feasibility options for various projects and working with other disciplines to test the validity of designs.
- Support in securing new business opportunities including bid writing, undertaking presentations to clients/project stakeholders.
- Communicating schemes in a mixed portfolio of media, including the latest 3D software packages.
Requirements:
- This role requires a recognised ARB registration and ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
- Highly computer literate, skilled in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications.
- Excellent presentational and communicational skills both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills.
- Ability to work within a team effectively and deliver tight deadlines on time and on budget and able to cope with change e.g. to brief, programme or role mentoring other team members.
