Assistant Engineer - Civil/Structural

In the Design and Advanced Technology Practice, our work centres around delivering innovative engineering design and project management solutions for our clients. We combine enthusiasm and passion with our technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges that improve the world we live in.
We are seeking to appoint a talented engineering graduate to our Peterborough based maritime and coastal engineering team. Not only will you be delivering exciting projects for our major UK ports clients, you will have exposure to a broad range of projects supporting the water, energy and defence sectors. We work on projects throughout their life cycle, from condition assessments and feasibility studies through to design and construction.

Requirements
- Degree in civil or structural engineering, or similar (MSc level being advantageous).
- Working familiarity with relevant technical Codes of Practice and industry Standards.
- Good understanding of BIM.
- Have a valid UK driving licence and be available to travel.
Responsibilities
- Producing project calculations, drawings and documents (specification, reports, technical notes etc).
- Assist in the preparation of bids to commercial and competitive standards.
- Take ownership for the quality of project work to meet agreed standards and specifications.
- Liaise with and support others across the wider UK and international markets.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
