We’re currently looking for talented engineers to join our growing teams in Bangalore-India. The roles are ideally suited to high calibre engineering professionals with appropriate experience of 3 years and above.

We can give you the opportunity to use your technical skills to provide high quality input to our nuclear projects. Joining our Structural Group, you’ll perform structural design of current and future integrity of civil structures.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Design of buildings.
- Seismic assessment/design of structures.
- Impact/crash assessment of concrete and steel structures.
- Nuclear industry experience preferable.
- Design to applicable codes and standards.
You will also be expected to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Professional approach.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Commercial awareness.
- Team working, being comfortable working in international teams.
- A sound understanding of structural analysis methods and structural/building design including applicable codes and standards.
- Quick learner.
- Able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing. Fluent in English language.
- Able to identify the key issues/information associate with a task.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure projects are delivered to Atkins internal quality standards and processes and industry standards within cost schedule and quality constraints.
- Gather and maintain all criteria to ensure that the work meets all requirements.
Tools:
- Experience of finite element software packages (ABAQUS or ANSYS)
- Experience of structural software tools (i.e. TEDDS)
What will you contribute?
- Graduate or Post-graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
- Experience of structural/building design and analysis.
- Experience of working within nuclear industry or similar highly regulated safety led industry.
