Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Office Manager to join our ADS&T business based in our Bristol office at Aztec West.
The position is varied, working as part of a team who provide multidisciplinary support to complex projects.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths.
- Previous office administration experience and of supervising staff
- Ability to work in a busy, professional office environment providing administrative support
- Experienced user of MS Office suite
- Self-sufficient/ability to work independent from instruction with a proactive approach
- Accurate record keeper, systems and process driven
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Vibrant and keen team player
Responsibilities
- Support to Bristol ADS&T Office Manager and supervision of administration staff.
- Maintain and update staff database, organisation charts and Outlook distribution lists
- Responsibility for desk plan, IT kit and office equipment.
- Liaison with suppliers such as IS, Finance and Facilities Management to resolve issues.
- Responsible for new starter set up, day one inductions and leaver close-down tasks.
- Maintain ‘Quality Safety Security and Environment information’ and PPE equipment.
- Office Safety Champion duties including identifying First Aiders and Fire Marshals
- Manage corporate credit card purchases for the office.
- Arrangement of hospitality and training events as required.
- Deputise for Office Manager and provide admin cover during absence.
