To meet our growth aspirations, we are seeking a high calibre, naturally strong and courageous leader to join our Transportation business. The successful individual will provide guidance on Strategic Highways and Local Transport frameworks and commissions, playing a crucial role in winning, mobilising and leading one or more, of our core local authority frameworks and/or Highways England major commissions across both the North East and North West regions of the UK.

You will need to demonstrate that you fulfil the following requirements
•Appropriate academic and professional qualifications, including Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and member of relevant professional Institution with significant experience in the transportation market
•Extensive experience of working with local authorities and or Highways England, as a Framework/Project Director or Manager, delivering consultancy services, expanding scope and services provided as well as delivering best value and innovation
•Strong presenting, negotiating and influencing skills
•Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
•Experience of building effective networks both internally and external to the organization
•Experience of developing strong and sustainable relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their requirements and aspirations, and working effectively with them to achieve their objectives
•Ability to provide strong safety leadership within dynamic working environments
•Strong business acumen with a demonstrable knowledge of identifying potential value creation, and experience in successfully leading and managing organizational change
•Demonstrable evidence of directing, managing and winning bids.
