SNC Lavalin are looking for a BMS Lead Supervisor for our KAPSARC project in Riyadh, KSA. This candidate will be working within a team environment taking the complete ownership of BMS, FAS, Irrigation control System, CCR systems. Honeywell EBI system and PLC day-to-day interaction with team, management of sub-contractor, that is, PPM program, alarm adjustment, graphic update, servers, DDC panels, comfort point control software, and monthly backups. Running meter reading reports, consumption in support of LEED & Energy management. Understanding of BMS SOPS, Spare Parts, Instrument calibration..

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Read and understand SOPS related to your work area and duties. Simplify where appropriate.

  • Become a champion for BMS, energy and environment. Reduce, reuse and recycle. Identify opportunities.

  • Manage BTU, Water and Electrical Meter Monitoring and report submission in support of LEED

  • Manage BMS, Fire Alarm, Irrigation water, solar systems and network effectively and efficiently.

  • Engage and develop the Central Control Room team for alarm monitoring and team optimization.

  • Enhance customer service through ownership, providing regular progress updates on work undertaken.

  • Support a culture or continuous improvement, engagement with the team, embracing change and new ways of working. Challenging the status que with zero compromise to safety.

  • Provide innovative solutions to improve the service operation. Look at new ways to improve service, reduce resource allocation allowing more time to focus on higher value activities.

  • Seek feedback and take on board lessons learned for continuous improvement.

  • Manage subcontractors and ensure that they are following PTW, step back process and using appropriate PPE, MSRA and ensure work is coordinated and planned as appropriate to the risks presented.

  • Ensure asset register for your area is up to date and complete and appropriate PPM’s are assigned on SAP.  Review and sign off on PPM tasks completed and raise notifications for remedial works required,

  • Review PPM completion, forward maintenance plans and backlogs at the end of each month.

  • Ensure parts are ordered ahead of schedule and available in time for PPM completion.

  • Review spares and consumable holding for PPM’s, operation and emergency ensuring correct Min Max assignment based on expected or historical usage.

  • Understand critically of each system and apply risk-based assessment approach.

  • Support projects, review and provide input prior to installation, ensure assets and PPM’s loaded on SAP

  • Attend and completed all necessary site training as directed and as appropriate to your role.

  • Ensure weekly operational log updates, weekly and monthly reporting are submitted on time.

  • Develop a forward plan for your work, ensuring it is coordinated effectively and efficiently.

  • Provide cross-training for team awareness and provision of cover when absent or on annual leave.

  • Provide adequate notice for annual leave. Prepare a handover report. Sit and review with your manager at least 5 days before your planned departure date.

Requirements:

  • BSc/ Diploma in Electrical Or Mechanical Engineering,

  • Industrial Automation, Instrumentation Training & Experience

  • 5 Year BMS / PLC Systems Training & Experience

  • Provide On-call support where required,

  • Coordination with IT for network issue, systems requirements

  • Saudi Driving License
