As a Graduate Engineer on our prestigious 3-year programme you will help to support and deliver the technical aspects of a variety of Chemical engineering and multidisciplinary designs across a range of challenging and exciting projects in the UK and internationally.  We operate across a range of markets including Cities & Development, Energy, Environment & Geoscience, Transportation and Water.

Within the oil and gas division, our operations focus on fixed and floating offshore structures, terminals, refineries, petrochemical plants and subsea pipelines. Having worked on thousands of oil and gas installations around the world, you’ll join a team of over 20,000 experts located in North America, Australia, the Middle East, Europe and the UK. We work across the life cycle of the oil and gas industry, finding innovative solutions to complex challenges through the increased use of digital and immersive technologies, and have worked on over 700 projects in the last five years all around the world. We have provided unrivalled technical expertise and support to the oil and gas industry for more than four decades. Where could I work?

Oil, Gas & Offshore Wind

Location: Epsom

Degree requirements:   2.2 Master’s/MEng degree in Chemical Engineering. We are only looking for candidates who has specialised or have an interest in fluid mechanicals and/or heat transfer.

Based in Epsom as a graduate process engineer you will work with the Fluids teams on projects primarily in the Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind market. Some of our recent projects include Prelude FLNG and Kincardine Offshore Wind Farm.  We also provide analysis to support large infrastructure projects; notable examples include the Thames Tideway storm tunnel system and the Doha Metro rapid transit system in Qatar. We’re looking for candidates who have a strong aptitude for fluid mechanics and heat transfer.

 

 

What are we looking for?

• Passion and understanding for working in a consultancy environment, with the ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders
• Drive and determination to achieve Chartered status
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to work on your own initiative or as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to apply your technical knowledge to analyse problems and create innovative solutions
• An interest in developing digital and technology-based solutions
• A flexible approach to travel as our projects and training may take you to a variety of locations in the UK and possibly abroad
