Do you think differently? Are you someone who poses good situational awareness and are able to activate the people around you to influence more, utilising the resources and assets of the business in ways that guide commercial governance and drive growth opportunities?
As Atkins transition from a traditional consultancy business model to a blended mix with major projects we seek to enhance our high performing Commercial Team in Nuclear & Power (Europe, Middle East & Africa Region).
This is a development role, directly supporting the Commercial Managers and Director. Whilst being coached and mentored on the job, you do need to thrive upon taking on new, elevated levels of ownership.
On the one hand, this role demands analytic and problem-solving skills, which require a practical numbers-oriented mind. But the more important aspect of your role is that it requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills, an ability to eloquently convey complex ideas, and a good instinct for business. Tasked with reviewing and approving contracts, a close eye for detail is another critical necessity. If you come from a utility, developer or consultancy background and speak either French or German, this would be an advantage.
This role offers the chance to be at the forefront of some of the most exciting developments in our business across a broad spectrum of regions and sectors from Nuclear New Build, Operations and Decommissioning to innovative Energy Net Zero initiatives including hydrogen, carbon capture and smart grids.
Interested? Then please submit a cover letter (forget the CV) giving it your best as to what you would bring to the role. Share your curiosity and enthusiasm; how will you make a difference, what diversity of thought will you bring, and importantly the energy and sense of enjoyment and fulfilment you will bring that will support why you are the one for this role.
Let's shape the future by doing things right.
You might know us for the great work we do across our wide variety of projects. We're proud to say it's thanks to our people's diversity of thought, expertise and knowledge. And when you join us, you'll be a part of this genuinely collaborative environment, where everyone's voice is valued and treated equally.
We're passionate about what we do, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Simply put, this a great place to be. So, when it comes to your life outside of work, ask us about our flexible and remote working policies designed to help you get the most out of life.
