Scope of Responsibilities Provide Support to construction Manager and worksite supervision to ensure construction work complies with applicable engineering standards, codes, specifications and design
Duties and Responsibilities:
· To promote and implement Client's and Company's HSE policies and requirements.
· To assign work to Foremen (Discipline) and supervise the site work according to job requirements.
· To assist the site engineer with the coordination of work from all disciplines as dictated by Project needs.
· To assist the QA/QC department in the submission of inspection requests (RFI’s) to the Client Representative in order to obtain acceptance of all executed work.
· To screen and select competent manual staff to accomplish Project tasks according to Project skills requirements.
· To edit the as-built drawings and mark up with the site work changes as agreed with Client representative.
· To ensure optimum utilization of Construction Equipment and Project Vehicles. To co-ordinate with subcontractors for sequencing of works to be implemented.
· To ensure correct storage and protection of issued materials and equipment until installation.
· To provide feedback to engineers for achieved progress in different areas, provide technical direction and implement the project construction work processes, procedures, manuals and systems ensuring that the contractors are implementing latest drawings’ revisions, specifications, and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with all company statutory procedures, quality and safety standards including any defined recording and reporting procedures. Monitor and perform technical audits, in progress inspections, testing and surveillance activities to ensure that project quality requirements are being met.
· Perform front-end activities such as support of site development automation plan, contribute to temporary facilities design and utilities and support of development and field material control system and its implementation.
· Work in cooperation with Completions team and Client representatives, perform system identification and turnover of completed project facilities including preparation of necessary turnover documentation.
· Participate in Constructability reviews and studies to optimize design.
· Propose modifications to engineering design and interpret drawings, specifications and other technical documents to the subcontractors.
· Generate/support generation of Site Queries (SQY’s).
· Make sure ITR’s are timely completed and submitted.
· Coordinate with and support Subcontractors during their assignments on the jobsite.
· Monitor generation of field materials requisitions (FMR), receipt of materials, and preparation of material summary reports.
· Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, sketches of completed work, material requirement calculations etc.
· Check mill certificates of critical pipeline material to verify composition, quality and strength requirements are in accordance with requirements.
· Review design drawings with fabricator to determine spools that can be preassembled in the shop before shipment. Check pipe spool deliveries to ensure that they match the erection sequence.
· Perform in process inspections to validate that all pipe spools are adequately supported during erection until permanent supports are in position.
· Responsible for providing technical engineering guidance for various construction activities.

EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university.
· At least 10 years’ Prior experience (5 years in supervisory role) in pipeline construction, preferably with an international EPC company.
· Excellent leadership and communications skills
· MS Office and applicable engineering software skills
· Good Arabic and English communication (written and spoken)
