The right person will be responsible for a team of professionals managing work in each of those disciplines.
Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Alexandria, VA, Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL, or Dallas, TX office as a Federal Defense Consulting Services Division Manager

How will you contribute to the team?
- Work with our clients, project teams, and business development staff to develop our pipeline to grow the business.
- Manage the portfolio of current work, advising and overseeing our project staff on delivering work within budget and on time.
- Understand and promote our corporate culture of ethics and safety in all we do
- Mentor and develop our team to prepare for growth.
- Represent and be involved in professional organizations to promote yourself and represent Atkins brand in industry.
- May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Master Planning, Architecture or Engineering services. Post graduate degree preferred. Management coursework and/or MBA a plus. This level may be achieved by technical professionals or technical managers with 15 years of experience since B.S., with at least three of these years in positions with project management or operational management responsibilities.
- Professional registrations as a PE, RA or accepted as an AICP is required.
- Experience 10 or more years in winning, managing and delivering work in their area of expertise with an understanding of the requirements in the other disciplines promoted in the Division.
- Background in managing people and working on strategy and tactics to support business growth and staff development.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office and Teams, SMS Builder a plus. Ideal candidate would have a strong background in Asset Management with a track record of successful consulting or Military Master Planning.
- Professional registrations as a PE, RA or accepted as an AICP required.
