We are hiring! The Federal Project Coordinator will support our FEMA Housing Inspection Services contract. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of contributing to multi-dimensional projects and supporting management objectives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Atkins is currently seeking a Federal Project Coordinator to join our joint venture Vanguard Inspection Services office in Winchester, VA.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Track and coordinate completion of assigned tasks with fellow team members
- Provide task order budget utilization and forecasting support
- Produce concise, timely analytical documents
- Exhibit familiarity with project management best practices
- Coordinate a variety of inspector-related activities including disaster deployment and travel, inspector classroom and Learning Management System training, and additional inspector support functions at the direction of the Field Operations Manager.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline with six years of business experience.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Capacity to work independently and proactively support VIS management team.
- Willingness and flexibility to work long hours with little to no notice.
- Commitment to high quality work and meeting contract requirements.
- Ability to submit to and pass a government background investigation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Access database experience a plus.
