The Engineering, Design and Project Management division is currently looking for a Fire Protection Technologist for its National Capital Region office. We are looking for innovative, forward-thinking people who enjoy challenge and actively seek to develop and improve work processes.


How will you contribute to the team?

  • Prepare fire alarm, security, and fire protection system design drawings;
  • Visit sites to review drawing accuracy and take field measurements
  • Perform assessments of existing mechanical and electrical fire protection systems;
  • Assemble general mechanical and electrical drawings;
  • Prepare CAD and Revit based drawings from surveys;
  • Produce building evacuation plans;
  • Prepare hydraulic design calculations;

What will you contribute?

  • Technical degree in fire protection engineering;
  • 3-5 years of experience in related field;
  • Ability to cross over multi-disciplinary projects;
  • Good understanding and proficiency in Revit is an asset;
  • Good understanding of fire protection engineering related fields is a requirement;
  • Collaborative approach and good communication skills;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Bilingualism (English & French Oral and written) is an asset.
