Graphics Specialist (Reporting)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Reporting (Graphic Specialist produces a range of examples for reports, dashboards, posters, presentation and other forms of materials and provide a program level organization chart of the project development teams.

  • Key contacts for graphic design within the project team.

  • Completion of tasks received from engineers and the information manager.

  • Preparation of sketches, figures and plans, from CAD and GIS data and from hand drawn sketches.

  • Adherence to the CPO brand and style guide.

  • Adherence to project quality procedures.

  • Liaising with external print companies to source specialist printing.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 Years’ experience including 3 years supervision experience on similar Projects with Middle East project experience.

  • A degree qualification in a related field.

  • Thorough expertise using Adobe Creative Suite CS4/CS5 applications: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

  • Experience of providing graphics support to multidisciplinary, client focused, project environments.

  • Must be able to produce high quality, creative and attractive reports and other documentation within InDesign.

  • Must be able to produce high quality graphics in the forms of maps, plans and illustrations within Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and applying graphic styles to documents created in these applications.

  • Ability for self checking & correction of work.

  • Must have appreciation of the work of other disciplines.

  • Proven experience of delivering to deadlines within pressurized environments

  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Use of 3D applications including Sketchup and 3D Studio Max to create 3D visualizations.

  • Experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

  • Good knowledge of infographics.

  • Creativity, originality and imagination in the production of high quality reports, graphics and other material.

  • All experience should be backed up with an up-to-date portfolio of relevant work to demonstrate skills.
