Role Purpose:
To analyse various asset-related data sources and combine this with contextual data and engineering understanding to produce intelligence assessments that describe current performance, establish the correlation and causation behind it and identify opportunities for future performance improvement.
Accountabilities:
- Identify and agree information required.
- Process the agreed information and analyse output.
- Provide qualitative narratives and/or reports based on the intelligence available.
- Work closely with Asset Intelligence Unit Lead.
- Build, develop relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the tasks are effectively delivered.
- Live the Connect Plus Service values.
- Support the delivery of Connect Plus Services Plans.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Highly numerate with some experience in data analysis using databases, data warehouses and/or statistical methodologies.
- Demonstrated credibility in influencing others through data analysis.
- Demonstrated business acumen with experience of working in strict operational contracts.
- Background in data analysis and asset management.
- A self-starter, with the ability to prioritise and self-manage.
- Good understanding and/or experience of Project Management and Asset Management.
- Good experience in using MS Excel, MS PowerBI, Python and any other data analysis applications.
- Degree level qualified in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other similarly numerate qualifications.
