Job Title: Junior Project Support Officer

Right now, we're going through a period of astonishing growth and have an opportunity for a Junior Project Support Officer to join our project support team. You will work as part of a small team, who support a variety of project managers with their project finances. Ideally you will have knowledge of entering data into spreadsheets to assist the Project Support Officers in their roles. You will also tracki opportunities, manage client correspondence and maintain our project database.
The role will ideally suit someone looking to develop into becoming a project support officer with a keen interest in finance.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of entering data into spreadsheets.
- Experience in using word processor, spreadsheets and email (preferably Microsoft Office).
- Able to work to challenging deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously, once trained.
- Flexible and self-motivated.
- Capable of managing time effectively and prioritising workload.
- Ideally educated to A level standard or equivalent; GCSE level Mathematics and English Language required.
Responsibilities will include:
- Taking data and entering onto spreadsheets, checking for accuracy and missing information.
- Monitoring client Contract Management Portal (CEMAR), including uploading and downloading documents for distribution. Creating general communications and following up requests.
- Maintaining the Nuclear Assets project database.
- Managing the team inbox, actioning any requests and responding to queries.
- Updating and tracking opportunities using the Client Relationship Management Tool (CRM).
- Assisting the Project Support Team in ensuring the processes from winning work, project delivery to project closure are followed according to client and Atkins requirements.
- Assisting in reviewing client monthly reports to ensure they meet client requirements.
