As a Graduate Engineer on our prestigious 3-year programme you will help to support and deliver the technical aspects of a variety of Mechanical engineering and multidisciplinary designs across a range of challenging and exciting projects in the UK and internationally. We operate across a range of markets including Cities & Development, Energy, Environment & Geoscience, Transportation and Water.
Whether it’s the design of an airport, bridge, railway station, university campus, nuclear power station or an offshore windfarm, you’ll help us to deliver outstanding projects that respond to the needs and resources of a contemporary world. Where could I work?
As a recent graduate you could find yourself in one of the following business areas;
Aerospace, Defence, Security & Technology (ADST)
Locations: Bristol, Silchester
Degree requirements: Minimum 2.1 Master’s/MEng degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Marine/Naval or Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
Joining our ADS&T Division will mean that you are able to work with teams across mission critical industries, to contribute to the security and resilience of the nation, or to exploit advanced technology to help clients to not only meet but embrace these exciting times. They work with leading names to transform the future of aerospace engineering and create lighter, quieter and more fuel-efficient aircraft. The security team is trusted by organisations to help them understand the threats they are facing and develop the strategies to counter them.
Whether it’s Mechanical, aerospace or systems engineering; advanced materials, finite element analysis, design or software – whatever your passion you will be joining a high-end engineering team working on ground breaking projects. Within the team, you could be expected to travel across the UK working on projects including aircraft design and future defence projects. Working across design, systems engineering and structural analysis, we are looking for people who are digitally equipped to face the future needs of the market.

Nuclear and Power
Locations: Bristol, Derby, Epsom (Surrey), Glasgow, Sheffield and Whitehaven
Degree requirements: Minimum 2.2 Master’s/MEng degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials or General Engineering or a Nuclear related subject.
We are the team that engineer, deliver, manage and decommission nuclear facilities worldwide, using the latest technology solutions to ensure the lights stay on and the world remains a safe place.
Our power business has been delivering mechanical, electrical, civil and structural engineering services to the global power sector for over 20 years. We’re now leaning into new energy challenges such as offshore generation and transmission, energy from waste, electric vehicle infrastructure and the integration of smart grid technology - helping to drive evolution in the power sector.
With an unwavering commitment to safety, quality and efficiency, we are well positioned to add value to today’s challenges of delivering the next generation of nuclear power plants while at the same time maintaining the existing generating ﬂeet and safely decommissioning legacy facilities. We’re now looking to the future, working with Small Modular Reactor (SMR) developers to advance new designs and developing digital applications, such as virtual and augmented reality, for the nuclear industry.

Oil, Gas & Offshore Wind
Locations: Aberdeen, Epsom (Surrey), London
Degree requirements: Minimum 2.2 Master’s/MEng degree in Mechanical or Offshore Engineering

Having worked on thousands of oil and gas installations around the world, you’ll join a team of over 20,000 experts located in North America, Australia, the Middle East, Europe and the UK. We work across the life cycle of the oil and gas industry, finding innovative solutions to complex challenges through the increased use of digital and immersive technologies, and have worked on over 700 projects in the last five years all around the world. We have provided unrivalled technical expertise and support to the oil and gas industry for more than four decades. Our highly skilled teams are leading technical developments across the globe and, with our input, problems are solved and critical decisions are made with confidence.

What are we looking for?
• Passion and understanding for working in a consultancy environment, with the ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders
• Drive and determination to achieve Chartered status
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to work on your own initiative or as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to apply your technical knowledge to analyse problems and create innovative solutions
• An interest in developing digital and technology-based solutions
• A flexible approach to travel as our projects and training may take you to a variety of locations in the UK and possibly abroad
