MEP Design Lead

Atkins we are currently looking for a MEP Design Lead (Buildings) in KSA.

“N.B: We are currently pending award on several significant projects. Should we be awarded, this position is key role. Consequently we are keen to speak to individuals in the market place with the experience listed below for such potential future programmes of work”.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Building Design team, you will be involved in real projects from day one, with exposure to some of the most demanding projects. • Represent Atkins on a daily basis to our Client, the Contractor & the Project Manager

• Experience on design and build project would be advantageous.

• An understanding of all MEP and building services design and to coordinate within the spatial constraints of a project is essential.

• Strong communication skills will be required to interact with project stakeholders, where necessary explaining and defending our designs and providing direction to our design team.

• Commercial awareness essential with an understanding and ability to administer Change Control.

Requirements

• B.E / B. Tech or M.E / M. Tech Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized University.

• 15 years’ experience in mega projects

• The ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and will be able to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.

• Experience on design and build project would be advantageous.

• Experience of working with Contractors

• Previous experience of leading multi disciplinary design teams and responsibilities for budgets and programming

• Commercial awareness essential with an understanding and ability to administer Change Control.

• Computer literate to understand; Word, Excel and Outlook software.

• Strong communication skills will be required to interact with project stakeholders
