Join our vibrant Nuclear & Power Division and play a pivotal role in engineering a net zero economy for the UK. Our exciting portfolio of projects include fusion, large scale nuclear new build, small modular reactors and decarbonisation studies. We’ve been in the sector for over 50 years and delivered over 7 million workhours, which makes us the most prominent supplier of engineering support to New Nuclear Build in the UK. In this role, you’ll lead from end-to-end on a broad range of projects, with plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself and support the development of your peers.
Your Purpose:
Your skills and experience are important and your attitude towards taking on fresh challenges is key. You’ll enjoy working closely with other engineers, project managers and multi-disciplinary teams and be able to work with these stakeholders to define solutions.
From a technical perspective, we are seeking people with varied backgrounds and varied levels of experience to support our diverse team. We are looking for our team to have a mix of design experience, site experience and some of this experience within a highly regulated industry such as the nuclear industry. We are looking for:
- Project and Engineering Managers.
- Mechanical Engineers & Applied Physicists.
- Civil & Structural Engineers.
- HVAC Engineers.
- Electrical Engineers.
- Instrumentation & Control Engineers.
- Process Engineers.
- We value people with language skills, and experience in living and working in other cultures.
What you can bring?
In addition to excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Degree qualified in a STEM subject.
- Experience of working in teams and project delivery.
- Ability to manage client relationships, engage constructively with multiple stakeholders and actively involved in the delivery of strategic work initiatives.
- Strong quality, safety, security and environment focus.
- The ability to speak French, German, or Chinese would be an advantage.
- Previous experience of the Energy sector or other highly regulated industries.
