SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Miami, Florida Project Controls Group as a Junior to Mid-level Scheduler.
MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE
Provide project scheduling and cost estimating support to Project Managers to help meet contract schedules and budgets and/or assist in the research and review of data for construction claims analyses.
JOB DUTIES
- Work involves utilizing scheduling software to create and/or review project schedules, supporting project cost estimates by working with construction plans to develop quantities and estimate the probably costs of construction.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimal experience required with Bachelor's degree. No experience required with Masters degree. Candidate needs to have experience reviewing and managing construction schedules; doing program scheduling (multi-project programs). Experience with Primavera P6 preferred; other scheduling and estimating software experience is a plus.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Ability to use computer, printer, plotter to prepare accurate reports and supporting documentation. Familiarity with applicable software.
