SNC Lavalin  is currently seeking a Payroll Project Manager to support and lead the payroll project implementation for the Canadian payroll. The position will be reporting to the Senior Payroll Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Project Management (80%)

  • Design and implement the project requirements, deliverables and timelines to ensure smooth integration
  • Design and implement the requirements and deliverables with third parties vendors
  • Work closely with the IT and Finances teams supporting payroll, HR and financial systems
  • Work closely with HR team and other key stakeholders to streamline activities and ensure deliverables are met
  • Communicate project plan and deliver updates to stakeholders.

Payroll (20%)

  • Design and document current payroll processes to ensure validity of process in new system
  • Participate to the validation process and document the parallel results in order to ensure full accuracy
  • Generate, when required, ad hoc report for validation purposes
  • Support payroll team in user training

COMPETENCIES AND KEY APTITUDES :

  • 7 to 10 years experience in payroll and HR system implementation project
  • Canadian Payroll Association Certification (PCP or CPM) a strong asset
  • Knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce system an asset
  • Bilingual, oral et written
  • Strong analytical aptitudes and problem resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Good Team spirit
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
