Our clients are awash with data. Their concern is how to unlock the business value. And that’s where you come in as our Practice Manager.  Your experience in the application of a wide range of tools and techniques at industrial scale will hold you in good stead.

The Data Intelligence Practice helps our clients organise, analyse and visualise their data to create actionable insight from static and real-time sources using industry leading tools and techniques. Our markets are Aerospace, Defence, Security, Government & Infrastructure (Energy, Water, Transport).

Your purpose will be to nurture an industry leading capability of 100 employees and growing who are highly utilised across a diverse mix of client engagements delivering consistently high quality. You will enjoy the freedom and support to drive growth of the Practice.

Your purpose will be to:

  • Develop an industry leading capability in organising, analysing and visualising data through recruiting, retaining and developing talent, embedding robust ways of working and through appropriate accreditation.
  • Ensure efficient utilisation and growth of the resource pool within the Practice in conjunction with the Practice resource manager, stretching our talent to meet and exceed their growth aspirations.
  • Collaborate with Market/Client teams to drive sales growth for the Practice, participating in client meetings to position new opportunities and working with Marketing to ensure that practice collateral clearly articulates the practice offering.
  • Streamline interfaces with other Practice areas to enable high value integrated propositions, identifying other practice areas with complementary expertise and aligning ways of working to reduce barriers
  • Ensure consistently high-quality delivery that delights our clients despite inevitable setbacks, driving the adoption of modern methods in all client engagements, capturing insights to embed change.

What you can bring:

  • Have a degree level qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Be an experienced and excellent manager of people in a Data/IT consultancy context.
  • Relish the opportunity of motivating your whole team to achieve rapid growth.
  • Care passionately about delighting clients through a collaborative style and quality delivery.
  • Think innovatively and creatively about the best way to solve clients’ problems.
  • Be commercially astute, using internal and external resource options to manage risk.
