Process Team Lead, Esbjerg (Denmark).
The Role
Within our Engineering and Consulting (E&C) UK & Europe business, the Esbjerg operation is an important part of the link into the Danish offshore sector and clients, and an important part of growth and diversification plans within mainland Europe.  The team is currently a multi-discipline team supporting mainly Oil & Gas clients in engineering consultancy and modifications & upgrades, but with intent to grow into other sectors, especially Offshore Wind.  The Esbjerg operation also acts as a conduit for specialist work that is carried out by other parts of the business, and draws in resources from this wider business to execute work locally.
As we make progress with our mission to make a difference by improving lives through safer, cleaner, smarter energy we are seeking a Process Team Lead to join our successful process team. The role will bring enthusiasm and experience to develop the growing process team in terms of strong technical skills, capabilities and project delivery.
Within this role, you will also have a focus on winning work, engaging with existing oil and gas clients and bringing in possible new clients.  You will also have a key part to play in the leadership of the Esbjerg team, and with interacting with the rest of the E&C business in the UK and across the globe.  You will play a significant role in developing the strategy and direction for the Esbjerg operation.
Other key responsibilities include the following:
• Strengthen the technical profile of the team• Client engagement and winning work for the team • Manage a number of projects, including interdisciplinary projects• Undertake resourcing responsibilities  


The Person
You will have a strong technical background coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  You will be passionate about improving the technical level of the team and as a natural leader and a motivator, you enjoy getting the best out of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience and technical knowledge across:
• Team management • Winning work through client engagement • Project Management• Process detailed design on multi discipline projects including calculations and documentation requirements• Process studies • Process simulations, steady state and dynamic, using Aspentech Hysys or Honeywell Unisim• International design codes and standards 
The following is also desirable:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering• Experience of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry• Experience in process engineering in the offshore industry• Brownfield modification experience
