Procurement Specialist (3 months Contract)

Procurement specialist to provide procurement support for consulting and construction related services.

General requirements

  • Has extensive in the procurement experience from procurement plan stage to award and drafting of contracts.

  • Focused on delivering assignments and to resolve issues with all role players as required

  • Can work in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines, and numerous role players

  • Has a customer focused team player attitude

  • Work independently with minimum supervision and guidance

  • Has excellent problem-solving skills

  • Is flexible to changes to work requirements and can prioritise work accordingly

  • Ability to add value to scopes of work and BOQ’s

Specific requirement

  • Managing/coordination of the bidding process

  • Understand the urgency of projects and act accordingly

  • Develop RFP’s

    • Expert skills in developing price schedules

    • Expert skills in drafting of RFP’s

  • Managing bid clarifications

  • Extensive experience in evaluation of commercial and technical bids

  • Drafting of contracts


  • Officially recognised QS

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience, acceptation maybe made for candidates with less experience
