Electrical Project Estimator/Cost Manager

This role serves as the client’s main contact for providing cost management services, including electrical estimate validation, change management, and value engineering. This opportunity will provide cost management throughout the project lifecycle from conceptual cost plan to project close out. It is essential that you have previously demonstrated the skill of being mindful of a client environment and maintaining a professional manner at all times as this role is remote for now but is located in a semi-conductor client project site(s) in Hillsboro, OR.
How will you contribute to the team?
- Validates quantities of contractor estimates.
- Align Clients and contractors on final quantities and costs.
- Reviews change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process.
- Provide procurement support for the client, where applicable, for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis.
- Facilitate commercial meetings to review project status with the contractors and client and report out on Key Performance Indicators.
- Provide cost information on value engineering analysis.
- Reviews the contractors close out administration and ensures that they meet their contractual requirements.
What will you contribute?
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, related field or have field experience.
- This position can range from entry-level to a senior position for the right candidate.
- Must understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including
- Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Foxit Reader, and Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Have an understanding of construction means and methods.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and be able to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Data Analytics
- Open to learning Architectural and Rigging Scopes
