Project Manager

SNC-Lavalin Engineers & Constructors Inc. seeks a Project Manager: Coordinate internal resources & third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects; Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility; Ensure resource availability and allocation; Develop detailed project plans to track progress; Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs; Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques; Report and escalate to upper management as needed; Manage relationship with the client & all stakeholders; Perform risk management to minimize project risks; Establish & maintain relationships with third parties/vendors; and, Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Domestic travel required 20%. Req’s: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or foreign equivalent and 2 years experience in the job offered or as a project engineer. Must possess 2 years experience in supervising the day to day construction of power substations and installation of electrical and telecommunications equipment. 2 years experience preparing execution plans and reviewing proposals for large-scale (valued at $25 - $250 Million to client) power or petrochemical projects. 2 years experience in utilization of Bluebeam Revu Extreme, Amtech Prodesign, Navisworks, Etap and Smartplant in power, or oil & gas construction context.
