We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 - 10 years’ experience to work in Oman.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
The duties of the Contract Engineer/Quantity Surveyor shall include, but are not limited to the responsibility for the following deliverables:
Follow up and interpret contracts, agreements and legal letters and other commitments in general (such as main contracts, Frame work consultancy contracts and other consultancy contracts).
Follow up the procedure chart of approving a contract.
Monitor/record all contracts of the clients.
Detect opportunities and risks during currency of the Project(s), and in particular identify variations and changes in liaison with the Projects' Quantity Surveyors/Project Controllers.
Recognizes processes and Project Actions that may lead to Project financial impact.
Begins basic analysis of cost and schedule variance.
Collects and analysis data for tracking actual data to funding limitations.
Communicate with governmental authorities for any updates in contracts.
Establish procedures and frameworks for ambiguous cluses in contract with support of related. concerned.
Undertake any other duties as requested by the client and related to contracts.
Attend all related meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor in QS or Civil Engineering from recognized University
Preference will be given to MRICS, other relevant certifications.
