RO/Desalination Project Construction Engineer shall support client in providing project coordination, site management and testing support. Experience in seawater reverse osmosis desalination project is mandatory. The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The tasks will include, but not be limited to, the following topics:
Liaison between client, the developer organisation and the site owner
Coordination and support of site preparation activities on project (design, engineering, construction and commissioning of auxiliary facilities)
Coordination of logistics related to the import of the pilot plant (customs)
Coordination of construction and commissioning of the pilot plant
Monitoring of the performance of the pilot plant (analysis of water flows, energy consumption, plant availability, etc.)
Facilitate the commissioning and performance tests
Duration and work location:
The support service is expected to be performed over a period of around 22 months (involving full time workload) starting on 25 February 2021.
Required qualifications of the Project Co-Ordinator and Site Engineer:
The project coordinator /site Engineer shall have experience in the following area:
Reverse osmosis (RO) desalination
The project coordinator /site Engineer needs to be able to work across disciplines and cultures.
The coordinator /site Engineer needs to have good coordination and time management skills and very good English language skills.
The project coordinator /site Engineer needs to have at least a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
Must have 5+ years of work experience after graduation.
