We are seeking a highly motivated Business Process Developer to join our Mining & Metallurgy (M&M) team in North America. Reporting to the Vice President of Studies & Technology, in this role, you will lead internal sales process development, tools, and reporting with the ultimate goal of becoming our customers’ preferred engineering services partner.
How will you contribute to the team?
- Trains colleagues on, ensures compliance with, and supports development of internal sales processes.
- Builds and owns sales and financial reporting tools including MS Dynamics and Power BI (and other platforms as recommended).
- Develops and maintains a strong network and relationships across the company especially relating to sales and reporting best practices.
- Gathers, reports, and analyzes market, customer, and competitor intelligence.
- Provides input on marketing and customer satisfaction surveys.
- Collaborates extensively with the M&M Senior Leadership Team to develop and manage the overall sales strategy and budget for the business.
- Ensure that the companies Code of Ethics and Business Conduct as well as commitments to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and climate change are adhered to at the highest level at all times.
What will you contribute?
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or relevant field (Master’s degree in business analytics an asset)
- Knowledge of mining or relevant heavy industry
- Understanding of professional services and business development practices
- Driven, logical, and detail-oriented with excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand, compile, and present diverse information in a logical, simple, and engaging format
- Fluent in English (French an asset) and located in Canada (Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver preferred)
