Senior Architect & Project Manager

We are hiring! Atkins is looking for a Senior Architect/Project Manager to lead and support new business development opportunities. The successful candidate will work become a trusted partner and advisor to our clients. This candidate will also guide Junior Architects as they perform their roles. There are two locations for this role: Austin, TX and Dallas, TX. This position will report to Director of Architecture.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Provide leadership to the Austin or Dallas Architectural Staff and Coordinate with the nationwide practice.
- Manage staff assignments and administrative responsibilities.
- Interface with global counterparts to share knowledge and expertise.
- Coordinate design production in accordance with applicable specifications and regulatory policies.
- Conduct analyses and prepare technical studies and reports.
- Participate in project planning for scope, time, related fee projections, and completion estimates.
- Prepare permit applications for regulatory agency review and approval.
- Assist with project scheduling, utilizing MS Project and Primavera, or other applicable software.
- Provide database support for projects, to include document control, project logs, etc.
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of project submittals.
What will you contribute?
- Architectural Degree.
- 10-15 years of experience.
- Registered Architect highly preferred.
- LEED and/or WELL accreditation preferred.
- Ability to excel at complex jobs which involve diversified technical duties.
- Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external clients.
- Consistent discretion and independent judgement when making decisions.
