Senior Aviation Engineer

Requirements and Experience

• Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of airport engineering, both Terminal Building and Airfield.

• Experience and/or knowledge of design, construction, operation and maintenance of airport facilities including: Passenger Terminals, BHS, PBB, PCA, ICT, hangers, Airfield Special Airport Systems, Airport Roadway Systems, Air Traffic Control Systems, Fuel Systems, security etc.

• Working knowledge of IATA ADRM and ICAO Annexes.  Knowledge of regulations effecting airport operations.

• Ability to analyse costs and provide technical advice in solution of constructions problems.

• Demonstrable relative airport project design or construction experience.

• Project management skills

• Experience managing design consultants for Special Airport Systems, writing scopes of work and supervising delivery.

• Airport planning experience both Terminal and Airport Campus wide

• Technical coordination and multi-disciplinary team building

• Willing to travel, when possible

Education:

• A Bachelor of Engineering degree is preferred with over 10 years of relevant experience
