Senior Baggage Handling Project Manager
Our Houston Team is team growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global corporation, and have Project Management experience in construction of airport baggage systems, we would like to connect with you. Work with Airport and Airline clients to manage baggage handling systems design management and construction of airport projects. Maintains a dual focus on practice related services (senior level guidance and management of the delivery of all project management related services) and internal business operations (active senior level participation and leadership related to business development, financial management, and staff development matters). Has significant independent responsibility for assignments including entire projects where the project scope and complexity are extensive. This is an internal Faithful+Gould full time position that comes with robust benefits. Must be willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
-Assume administrative, contractual, technical and financial control of the project.
-Organize the Project Team and develop effective relationships
-Preserve the integrated system design to meet the system performance and technical specification requirements.
-Manage the project master schedule to achieve timely completion of the contract
-Report monthly project status.
-Act as primary interface with client.
-Manage multiple tasks and projects.
-Lead a multi-disciplined team and sub-contractors; manage conflict, establish priorities, coordinate many concurrent and sequencing activities, develop the people associated with the Team, promote effective interactions among many departments and provide the project team with leadership.
-Effectively, manage risk and opportunities.
-Travel, as required, to perform the tasks as described for this position. Extended travel periods may be required during the commissioning and acceptance phase of each project.
-Manage the project cash flow and schedule of deliverables against price/time curves; Exercise overall profit responsibility for the total project.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field or a technical certificate or degree with equivalent experience.
- Scheduling, estimating and construction monitoring of baggage systems required.
-Familiarity with TSA certification of in-line systems essential
-Must possess a thorough understanding of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, Building Cost Modeling and Risk Analysis. Should have a general understanding of
Primavera, Expedition/Prolo
-Understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Microsoft Office Suite.
-Project Management Professional (PMP) [certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Accreditation
Centre (GAC)] and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) [certified by the Construction Manager Certification
Institute (CMCI), an independent administrative body of the Construction Management Association of America
(CMAA)] highly desirable
-Must be willing to travel
