Senior Civil Engineer

JOB OBJECTIVES

• To lead and manage a team of professional Design Engineers.
• Interface and provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction 
• sites and commissioning engineers, provide startup assistance as required. 
• Furnish final drawings, estimation of quantities and other technical documents to 
• construction contractors through projects. 
• To develop designs from project specifications.
• To allocate, prioritise and check work of a team of Design Engineers.
• Verify scope of work, budgeted man hours, budgeted quantities, total of deliverables, 
• format of delivery, time schedules and other specifications for execution of the work. 
• To check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
• Assign detailed engineering tasks, distribute engineering assignments in accordance to 
• areas of specialized training responsibilities in preparation of engineering deliverables to 
• Client and vendors. 
• Provide inputs for the preparation of plans, organize the issuance of engineering 
• drawings and technical documents for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC’s) coordinate with 
• other engineering discipline in the integration of data inputs.
• Coordinate the preparation of Purchase Requisitions for the procurement of equipment 
• and materials. Ensure materials are obtained within scheduled timeframes and budgeted 
• costs.
• To prepare and check material data sheets and material take off reports
• To document, record and report on meetings, progress of jobs and construction 
• completions from design & validation reports from Project Engineers.
• Interact with Quality Assurance for quality issues; strictly ensure compliance with 
• Uncontrolled CopyHard Copies of this document are uncontrolled and the current revision is available on 
• Company’s ISO Quality procedures. 
• Coordinate Internal and Client audit requests, facilitate audit procedures of engineering 
• systems within the department. 
• To incorporate feed back from projects and customers for design clarification and 
• modifications during the development and construction project phases.

EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidate must have atleast 10+ years experience in infrastructure, site development, road, storm drainage design etc.
• Conversant & working with Aramco & Royal Commission Standards & Projects.
