Currently, we are looking for a key member of the India HR team to support HR advisory services and working collaboratively and effectively with all HR teams (e.g. - regional functional HR teams, HR shared services etc.) to ensure delivery of HR services.

In addition, one will be responsible for advising business stakeholders in all HR matters. The role holder would be working closely to ensure high engagement with staff and working as a trusted advisor to the line management community.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Execute HR plans in alignment with business need.
  • Support the implementation of GDC specific HR policies. Overall operationalization for all HR related operations matters, including compensation & benefits, talent development and management, performance management, employee relations, HR communications and MI reporting requirements.
  • Manage manpower strategy as budgeted.
  • Manage employee grievance system and disciplinary proceedings.
  • Build and institutionalize a performance-oriented culture.
  • Translate organization strategy and goals into an HR strategy.
  • Keep abreast of industry practices and share best practices.
  • Talent identification, development and deployment.
  • Ensure completeness of employee review process and work on establishing a pool of key talent across GDC.
  • Facilitate the roll out and implementation of career paths and development strategies.
  • Recommend innovative recognition schemes to ensure improvement of staff retention and to recognize performance.

What will you contribute?

  • Masters’ degree in Human Resource Management.
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements.
  • Proven client management and business literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of operating HR lifecycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage employees and management while addressing complex and difficult issues.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
