Senior Performance Analyst - Snodland - Site Based

Due to continued growth in the workload of our successful Water business, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Asset Performance Analyst.

The successful candidates will initially join a site-based team of asset management professionals, engineers, modellers, GIS specialists and technicians and play a key role in delivering a major Framework for a key client.

Overview of the role:

  • To analyse complex performance data to understand asset and system health and performance to inform asset management strategy and plans and to provide reports for the business to track AM related KPIs, PCs, ODI’s and improve decision making.
  • The role will own specific asset management analytical methodologies and ensure they are documented, validated and embedded into business activities.
  • The role will also own and undertake programmes of work that will improve asset performance analysis and data capture.

Expected Requirements:

  • The role holder will be able to demonstrate a deep knowledge of utility assets and systems, and a high level of capability in data manipulation and visualisation tools and be able to interpret results and make recommendations.
  • The individual will be able to present complex analytical results and recommendations up to Executive level.
  • An understanding of the water industry would be an advantage.

Main responsibilities:

  • Working with the Asset Performance Manager and wider Leads from the business, define and scope required analysis, understanding the outcomes being tested/ analysed.
  • Undertake complex analysis and completing and presenting results, conclusions and recommendations back to the business.
  • Support and coach more junior analysts, as and when required, establishing and undertaking appropriate QA activities.
  • Own the development, validation, documentation and maintenance of one or more key asset management approaches such as FMECA, fault trees, asset risk framework etc.
  • Take ownership and manage programmes of improvement associated with asset performance.
  • Define the long-term direction and requirements of key asset performance tools and systems, becoming the subject matter expert for these systems.
  • Support key leads, to define key monitoring KPI’s and reporting to show progress on implementation of key asset strategies.
  • Liaise with Asset Information to identify data issues that are impacting performance analysis and support the scoping of data improvement projects.
