How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Assist the HSE Manager in implementing the QSSE management systems and processes
- Plan, coordinate and communicate the GTC HSE programme, including the internal and external audit regime.
- Monitor legal compliance through SHE legal register
- Investigate reported accidents, incidents and near misses in accordance with Group policies.
- Carry out Health and Safety risk assessments for the GTC offices.
- Train and manage the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and respond to emergency situations such as fire, natural disasters, etc.
- Carry out audits for subcontractors.
- Interface with the Facilities and ERT teams of landlord to ensure safe working environment.
- Conduct induction programs for new joiners and graduates.
- Analyse and compile training completion data for mandatory HSE modules.
- Provide feedback on legal and other compliance issues to Management.
- Promote a positive safety and environmental climate within the businesses.
- Produce monthly and quarterly summary reports of HSE activities undertaken.
- Maintain BMS documentation as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards
- Provide advice and assistance to staff on implementing and maintaining BMS requirements.

What will you contribute?
- Degree or Diploma graduate.
- Min 8+yrs of Experience working in an Environment Health & Safety (EHS) oriented role.
- Highly organised with good IT skills, should possess hands on experience on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Ability to undertake effective auditing.
- Ability to collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Ability to engage with the QSSE team on issues relevant to assurance and wider aspects across the QSSE function.
- Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner (oral and written) at all levels within the organisation.
- A broad understanding of ISO and OHSAS management systems and of commercial, project and risk management.
