Our user services teams are committed to delivering a 24/7, 365 days a year service ensuring we keep our people and projects delivering for clients. This includes service desk, hardware and software asset management and software packaging teams providing the latest technology solutions available to future proof the organisation’s technical ability.
Our technology delivery teams setup and run the IT infrastructure backbone of the organization including network, firewall, storage and unified communications. They enable the global nature of our business, providing seamless connectivity, communication and collaboration capabilities to our employees. This means we can all work collaboratively from anywhere in the world and on any device, using Office 365 and Skype for Business, improving the pace and quality of delivery for our partners and clients
Our applications delivery teams help build, implement, support and sustain the various corporate systems used by the company’s functions and also the numerous digital offerings aimed at improving the efficiency of our internal teams and the value proposition to our clients. Here, we have teams dedicated to innovating, researching and experimenting with new leading-edge technology and exploring emerging digital solutions using a combination of Full Stack development, Data Analytics, Digital Engineering, Intelligent Mobility and Digital Asset Management.

An experienced software developer is required to enhance the o365 product and services. There will be a focus on SharePoint technologies (on premise and online) although the entire o365 stack and technologies will be utilised to create solutions to support our business users
Key Deliverables / Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in the end to end lifecycle of the solutions they create. They are responsible for ensuring the products that they deliver achieve the goals as defined by the business and product owners. They will participate in the innovation, incubation and iteration of digital products. Key responsibilities will include:
• Developing SharePoint and Office 365 solutions
• Evidence of keep up to speed on the latest Office 365 technologies and ensure they are utilised to deliver fit for purposes solutions.
• Understand business requirements through user stories and user centred design, and identification of appropriate solutions
• Production of solution designs that meet the business requirements and are deliverable and supportable.
• Review of partner and 3rd party designs to ensure they align with Atkins products
• Experimentation with minimum viable products to verify best technology choices and solution design
• Test possible solutions with customers as early as possible
Essential Criteria
- Familiarity with Office 365
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JSOM, CSOM, CSS, HTML, C#, MVC, .NET
- ASP.NET Web Forms Development (Web Parts, Custom ASPX Pages, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of managed metadata and term store
- Development of forms and workflows
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Worked with azure services
- Worked with the Office 365 API end points
- Can work in an agile environment
- Developed solutions using SharePoint Online
- Office 365 search configuration knowledge (Refinable properties, Site columns, Site Column mappings, CQSWB)
- Client side development
Desirable Criteria
- New SharePoint Development framework. Including technologies such as (Yeoman, Gulp, Workbench, React, Github, TypeScript, Node JS)
- PowerShell
- Worked on solutions using the Microsoft Graph
