The Digital Team at Global Design Centre provides design support to Atkins’ regional operations. Its large and diverse pool of resources work together to provide engineering solutions to complex and challenging projects in Transportation, Energy and Utilities, Major Projects, and Property business sectors.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Experience with MS SQL-Server, Data Lake, Data factory, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, .net, ASP.NET, C#, JQuery, AJAX, .NET core and Cosmos DB.
- Excellent knowledge of Azure or AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration.
- Responsible for the support from offshore in creation, maintenance and management of Enterprise Architecture models and their low-level components.
- Interpret, use and apply information contained in the existing architecture to inform a range of business improvement activities involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of Applications.
- Collaborates with all relevant parties to review the objectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with EA. Recommends the most suitable technical architecture and defines the solution at a high level.
- Recommends and participates in the development of architecture blueprints for related systems.
- Participates in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption.
- Identifies implementation risks and analyses potential impact on the enterprise and on the achievement of scheduled objectives.
- Recommends and participates in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies.
