This role requires the right candidate to lead complex projects, ensuring successful delivery and the management of external and internal stakeholders. It will require the candidate to lead or support the development and implement the approach to in-service or acquisition of complex submarine or strategic weapons systems. The development of solutions will require the principles of innovation and design thinking, in a disciplined manner focused on de-risking and removing uncertainty from new approaches.
Your purpose
- Leadership of the development of solutions and approaches to difficult problems
- Leadership of projects and providing direction to the project team.
- Ensuring the appropriate set-up, management and co-ordination of the project and its scope
- Ensuring the delivery of projects to the required quality, time and budget
- Management of customer stakeholders, teaming partners and supply chain
- Leadership of the development of plans and approaches to satisfy client needs
- Development of value propositions that bundle products and services that create value for a customer. Describing how we will solve our customer’s problems, satisfy their needs, and help them realise benefits.
