Team Leader- Bridges and Structures

We are currently looking for a Team Leader- Bridges & Structures to join our Norway team. Ideal person must have leadership skill and multidisciplinary basic knowledge on Structures.

Responsibilities and tasks:

for the role for the Team Leader implies: 

• ensuring technical work from the Team is carried in compliance with the Atkins Technical Assurance Goals; 
• ensure others and him/herself follow and apply Atkins Design Principles; 
• producing and/or checking reports and drawings pertinent to the discipline; 
• producing and/or checking numerical FE models pertinent to the discipline; 
• carry out or check quantity estimation and/or determination; 
• providing competence in line with the project needs for the tasks set; 
• follow the Section Leader technical direction and PM guidance; 
• managing and maintaining technical risk register and adopting mitigating actions (for scope); 
• make sure safety critical aspects of the design are considered and actively process them; 
• assign risks and issues to be addressed by the team to team members; 
• ensure delivery to programme and quality (and quantities when required); 
• ensure the project requirements are met for the assigned scope; 
• produce or check the correct technical output to meet the project requirements; 
• seek, incorporate and offer and provide advice of and to others where required; 
• follow the set standard for technical excellence in deliverables and monitor it’s implemented; 
• maximise learning and development. 

Skills and knowledge: 

• Subdisciplines and Topics : Concrete, Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete, Steel, Wood 
• Software (specialistic): SAP2000, MIDAS, ANSYS, ETABS, ROBOT, TEKLA, ADINA, STRAUSS 
• Software (general): NAVISWORKS, SOLIBRI, NOVAPOINT, REVIT, TEKLA, MS OFFICE, AUTOCAD 
• Standards : EUROCODES (NO NA), Banenor TRV, SVV Handbooks, NS EN 206
