Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Atlanta, GA Team as a Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Spe


Under supervision, delivers incident management training, supports TIM activities, and monitors program deliverables.

  • Participates in SHRP2 and/or other first responder training
  • Manage training records and documentation of TIM program
  • Communicates with local stakeholders
  • Supports TIM Specialist II personnel with regional duties when stationed resources are limited.
  • Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field(s) of practice plus 2 years of relevant experience. Graduate degree desirable. Major course work in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Safety or related field preferred. Without Bachelor’s degree, this level may be achieved with 6 years of experience working in fields related to traffic operations, incident management, law enforcement and/or other emergency response.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; good public speaking ability; strong project financial management skills; knowledge of production support systems and personal computer proficiency.
  • General Competencies expected of all employees are as follows: Client Service, Commitment, Communication, Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Professionalism, Quality and Teamwork. (Note that “Clients” may be internal managers and staff.)

  • Professional Registration in field of practice preferred if available.

  • Must be able to work nights and/or weekends in the event of emergency operations activation.
