What’s your role at Atkins? I’m a Graduate Recruitment Advisor specialising in infrastructure. This means that I work closely with practice managers to help capture the best graduate talent available.
Tell us a little bit about your background. My background is actually within higher education; I worked for several universities over the years and found myself providing employer advice and guidance within Careers teams. I spent years working with employers trying to secure students and graduates with roles. I eventually realized I wanted to try the other side and to be the active recruiter filling in-house positions – that’s how I ended up at Atkins.
What’s the best thing about your job? Being able to undertake the candidate journey with the candidates, I’m part of the process from start to finish.
What makes a good day at work? Great colleagues and successful offers.
Tell us something you love about working at Atkins. Atkins offers flexible working and as an employer really understands life style balance, everyone is super friendly as someone is always on hand to help.
