My role within Atkins, member of SNC-Lavalin is to support Recruitment for the Infrastructure business. I play different roles within recruitment to apply HR recruiting best practices. I’m responsible to design and implement overall recruiting strategy, specifically recruit experienced hires for areas like Environment, Project Delivery & Utility Solutions. I source and headhunt candidates by using databases, social media, linkedIn, career portals, advertisements and support career events to attract healthy flow of candidates. I provide talent and market mapping to business and take care of Employee Referral project to encourage referrals.
Tell us a little bit about your background?
A Human Resource professional experienced in Information Technology & Engineering recruitment. I have worked on various ATS & HR databases. I’m proficient in stakeholder management, customer/ client service, team management and HR engagements & functions. I act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection & interview process.
What is the best thing about your job?
The best few things about recruiting is being the face of the company, the essential service provided to both candidates and stakeholders. It’s a worthwhile career that has endless boundaries. It’s a fun, positive and a highly social role, driven to communicate with others and results are well rewarded when I offer a career opportunity and be a part of their career growth.
