The Rail Week initiative has been the brainchild of the professional networking association Young Rail Professionals (YRP), supported by many organisations across the rail industry pledging to host events and reach out to schools, colleges and parents in their area.
Pete first joined Atkins on a summer placement after studying Civil Engineering at University – staying for just long-enough to fund a few months travelling before starting work for good. On his return he joined the Bristol Transport Planning team as a graduate and has stayed with the team ever since. He now manages projects and provides technical leadership within the team.
Watch how Jonathan Bonas, who joined Atkins in 2018 went on to work with multi-disciplinary teams to provide support to the development of Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) applications in the West of England and Swindon.
