Oracle Analyst - EPM

In this role you will be part of the organization’s worldwide Center of Excellence (CoE) for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software.  The CoE team are partners with corporate Finance and its mandate is to assist in the finance functions and process through the technology.

We are looking at extending the current team with individuals in Canada, UK and India. This role requires experience in Oracle EPM tools including Financial Data Management (FDMEE), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Planning and Budgeting Cloud (PBCS), and SmartView.

Your Purpose

  • Work closely with the different corporate departments (Consolidation, FP&A, Treasury and Tax) and with all department sectors.
  • Provide support to finance end-users on monthly closes, quarter closes and yearly closes.
  • Assist in growing the Oracle CoE capabilities in customer services and system enhancement.
  • Handling tickets raised by the finance end-users and resolving them within the SLAs as defined.
  • Documenting the daily processes, abnormalities related to the EPM applications.
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot complex issue and work with Technology and Finance users to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Process Flows.

 What you can bring

  • Good technical experience on Oracle EPM applications (HFM, Planning, PBCS, FCCS, FDMEE) or similar is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of the financial services industry and financial systems.
  • Understanding of financial statements and financial related data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with financial data.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting process and general financial knowledge.
  • Understanding of HFM and/or PBCS application configuration dependencies and interrelationships between components.
  • Knowledge of HFM and/or PBCS dimensionality, and administration of metadata and business rules.
  • Extensive knowledge of end user tools including SmartView and Financial Reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and act in an objective manner in order to effectively solve. problems and stay on track towards accomplishing organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Fluency in French (an asset).
