To meet the increasing demand of our expertise in engineering, we have now an opportunity for a Site Supervisor – Control System and Instrumentation (C&I) with experience ranging from 15 – 20 years to join the Nuclear and Power team at our AtkinsRéalis India offices. We are particularly interested in individuals with reasonable consultancy experience in Supervision of plants with site experience and implementation of engineering changes/system upgrades in green and brown field projects. The person should be experienced in leading the Plant construction, commissioning and operation.

Responsibilities
- The work is varied and may include some or all of the responsibilities mentioned below:
- Should be able to prepare BOQ's for repairs and coordinate work orders to contractors.
- Supervision and management of site activities.
- Monitoring of works of DCS, ECMS, field instruments, control stations, etc.
- Monitoring the works of other C&I equipment’s and packages including site acceptance tests.
- Maintaining site registers for inward & outward documents, material, bills, etc.
- Supervision of all contractors and labour at site and checking if all work is being carried out as per specifications.
- Should be able to oversee design implementation at the site and successfully achieve the quality expectations of the project, bridging the gap between the design team and site team.
- Inspect the construction site to monitor progress and assesses conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction standards.
- Should be able to manage competing priorities and should be able to resolve all on-site issues, which require complex decision-making as and when required.
- Should be able to manage all consultants/vendors appointed to meet the project requirements without having any cost escalations.
- Ability to take decisions and work independently.
- Review non-conformance reports and action against them for timely closure.
- Estimate manhour requirements.
- Preparing FCN reports as necessary in co-ordination with design team and client.
- Supervise the site work in relation to project progress and report for any anomalies.
- Ability to understand and define client’s requirements, plan & schedule deliverables, timelines.
- Strong delivery culture, ability to multi-task, resource management, delegate tasks, develop and deliver cost/time-effective solutions.
- Flexible to relocate to AtkinsRéalis India Office Locations (Bangalore/Gurgaon/Mumbai) flexible in travelling to AtkinsRéalis’ and client’s office locations around the world, if required.
Requirements
- Should have worked at least 15-20 years in the position of Site Supervisor and have Graduation in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience in works of DCS, ECMS, field instruments, control stations, etc and supervision experience.
- Experience in works of other C&I equipment’s and packages including site acceptance tests along with supervision experience.
- Experience in preparation of BOQ's for repairs and coordinate work orders to contractors.
- Experience in supervision and management of site activities.
- Experience in Design coordination and site supervision with handling medium to large-scale projects.
- Site supervision experience in OCGT/CCGT/Cogen plants of different types and sizes.
- Should have the required knowledge and understanding of the types of hardware required, unique to the project, and must be able to procure them along with preparing running bills.
- Ability to take decisions and work independently.
- Estimate manhour requirements.
- Experience in preparation of FCN reports as necessary in co-ordination with design team and client.
- Experience in supervision of the site work in relation to project progress and report for any anomalies.
- Knowledge of Auto Cad, Navisworks. Ability to understand and define client’s requirements, plan & schedule deliverables, timelines.
- Strong delivery culture, ability to multi-task, resource management, delegate tasks, develop and deliver cost/time-effective solutions.
- Flexible to relocate to AtkinsRéalis India Office Locations (Bangalore/Gurgaon/Mumbai) flexible in travelling to AtkinsRéalis’ and client’s office locations around the world, if required.
