Park and Power Plant Facilities Maintenance

We are looking for one Park Maintenance Student or Recent Graduate responsible for the operation and maintenance of Sherbourne Commons from May - October 2024.
Location – Mississauga, ON
Your role within the team:
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Operate and maintain a variety of park maintenance equipment.
- Participation in the review of operating and maintenance procedures.
- General Park maintenance such as litter pick up, cleaning, painting, and other related maintenance.
- General power plant maintenance.
- Operate pressure washing machine.
- Answer general questions from the public.
- Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate:
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or skilled trades post-secondary program – college or university.
- Experience with park maintenance would be an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends as required.
- Good mechanical aptitude and related experience is required to operate park machinery.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
