We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our team in Austin, TX.

How will you contribute to the team?
Define scope of project, with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating project assignments.
Select problems for investigation, developing novel approaches and solutions to architectural problems in consultation with the Director of Architecture.
Conduct quality control checks, reviewing calculations, designs, specifications and construction documents for accuracy and completeness, and performing on-site review of projects under construction to ensure aesthetic value and quality is consistent with contract documents and design intent.
Provide Leadership of architectural staff, and coordination across nationwide practice.
Exhibit outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills.
Support New Business Development activities.
Participate in project planning for scope, time, fee projections, and completion estimates.
Analyze cost implications and returns for project strategies.
Prepare and articulate project goals and strategies.
Lead and support project technical activities.
Listen carefully to client goals, help achieve them as a trusted partner and advisor.
Advocate on behalf of the practice – posts, speaking engagements, conference attendance, etc.
Interface with global counterparts to share knowledge and expertise.
Assist with project scheduling.
Assist in the coordination and tracking of project submittals.
Prepare permit applications for regulatory agency review and approval.
Provide technical writing and editing support.
Coordinate design production in accordance with specifications and regulatory policies.
Conduct analyses and prepare technical studies and reports.
Coordinate the work of consultants or other employees involved in project development.
Report to Austin Office Architectural Leader.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree in Architecture or graduate level technical coursework preferred.
10 years minimum experience, 15+ years preferred.
LEED and/or WELL AP preferred.
Strong technical writing and communication skills are expected at this level, proven through technical presentations, technical papers and/or participation in technical committees. May be eligible for project management training.
Registration as a licensed architect is required
